Nestasia, a home, lifestyle, and kitchenware brand, has rolled out a campaign, 'Gifts So Good, You'd Hate Gifting Them' for the upcoming occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Conceptualised by Talented, the campaign comprises an ad film.
Built around the thought, "What if the gifts were so good, you'd want them back?", the film, depicts a sister secretly returning to reclaim the Rakhi gifts she had picked for her brother. Showcasing Nestasia's Rakhi gifting range, from serveware and kitchen essentials to drinkware and organisers, the film naturally integrates the products into a relatable sibling dynamic. With an unexpected twist and playful rivalry, it presents the gifts as ones that are simply too good to let go of.
Extending the campaign digitally, Nestasia has collaborated with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni on Instagram, where she explores the brand's Raksha Bandhan collection and finds herself choosing a few gifts for herself too.
What we think about it: The campaign lands because it taps into a familiar sibling instinct of wanting to keep a thoughtfully chosen gift, making the product integration feel natural rather than forced. While the playful 'heist' premise is memorable and relatable, the execution stays safe, relying on a well-worn sibling rivalry trope instead of pushing the creative idea further.
Aditi M Agrawal, co-founder, Nestasia, said, "Every Raksha Bandhan, people spend a lot of time choosing gifts that feel personal and memorable. We wanted to build a campaign around the moment you've found that perfect gift and think, 'Maybe I should pick one for myself too before I give it away.' That simple, relatable insight became the inspiration for our heist film. It's playful, unexpected, and rooted in the kind of sibling chemistry we all recognise. At the same time, it allowed us to showcase our Rakhi gifting collection in a way that feels authentic, entertaining, and true to the joy of the festival."
