The late Piyush Pandey has been awarded the Padma Bhushan posthumously. The advertising legend who spent more than 40 years with Ogilvy passed away in October 2025. He was among the 13 Padma Bhushans announced on the eve of Republic Day.
Pandey was bestowed with this accolade for being a celebrated advertising professional with a career spanning four decades. He revolutionalised the industry landscape with over 100 iconic global campaigns while elevating Indian advertising on a global stage.
The late Dharmendra was recognised with the Padma Vibhushan posthumously.
Indian women's winning ODI World Cup captain Harmanpreet Kaur was recognised with the Padma Shree, as was the Men's T20 World Cup winning captain Rohit Sharma.
