Gabit Smart Ring campaign #WhatAreYouTracking

Gabit has rolled out its inaugural ad campaign featuring Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who also joins the wearable health tech as its official brand ambassador.

The smart ring, touted as a cutting-edge health wearable, promises to effortlessly track, analyse, and enhance four parameters of wellness: fitness, sleep, stress, and nutrition - 24/7.

Bringing a dose of relatable humour to a category that’s often seen as overly clinical or complex, the ad film opens on a movie set with Kapoor playing himself. The plot takes a twist when the actor stops following the director’s instructions and instead begins obsessively following the health insights provided by his Gabit Smart Ring. What ensues is a series of comedic misadventures, highlighting Kapoor’s quirky journey into healthier living.

What we think about it: The campaign cleverly blends Kapoor’s charm with a refreshing narrative in a market saturated with data-heavy and technical messaging. The ad engages by injecting humour into wearable tech marketing with the actor’s portrayal of an overtly health-conscious version of himself lending authenticity and entertainment value.

Gaurav Gupta, founder, Gabit, said, "We’re building Gabit as more than just a product. It’s a movement - a shift in mindset. And with Ranbir Kapoor on board, we’re bringing this movement into every home across India — because good health should be accessible to everyone. We believe health should be simple, sustainable, and personalised – something you actually enjoy doing. We hope to inspire millions to take that first step towards better health — with the Gabit Smart Ring."

Arpana Shahi, founder, Gabit, added: "Health in India has always been reactive. Something we think about only when something goes wrong. With Ranbir on board, we’re changing that story. When someone like him champions rest, recovery, and everyday health, it normalises a new kind of wellness culture – one that's proactive, preventive, and here to stay."

The campaign was launched on 22 May across Instagram, YouTube, OTT platforms, and more.
