Flipkart has rolled out a campaign to announce its Flipkart Buy Buy 2025 sale.
Conceptualised by Leo, the campaign comprises a film. The film opens with a rapid, witty recap of the year gone by — from India’s historic cricket triumphs and a scandalous affair caught on camera at a Coldplay concert, to Prada launching Kolhapuris worth crores and the internet buzzing over Samay Raina’s arrest. It strings together the most viral moments, trends, and headlines that had everyone talking (and stressing).
The narrative then culminates in a playful twist: after a year this chaotic, dramatic, and downright exhausting, Flipkart steps in as the much-needed breather — here to lift the mood and lighten the load with its unmissable sale.
What we think about it: The campaign is a sharp, culturally plugged-in snapshot of the year’s most viral moments, and it nails the tone from the very first frame. The pacing is brisk, the humor lands effortlessly, and the references feel neither forced nor overly exaggerated. Overall, it’s witty, timely, and delightfully self-aware.
The film released on 29 November.
