Adani Group's campaign

Adani Group has rolled out a campaign marking the commencement of Navi Mumbai International Airport operations.

The film opens with a young girl watching her father at work, and she asks him what he is building. Her father, a construction worker at the site, replies simply, “I am building people’s dreams.”

The story then unfolds across time, following both the growth of the airport and the journey of the father and daughter. As years pass and the massive structure slowly takes shape, the girl grows older. Later on, she asks her father the same question again, and his answer remains unchanged. Eventually, she asks him another question: “When will we fly?” Her father smiles and replies, “Soon.” The film culminates with the completion of the Navi Mumbai International Airport. As the airport finally opens, the promise made years ago is fulfilled. The father and daughter (along with others involved in building the airport) are shown ready to fly, symbolising not just the launch of an airport, but the realisation of countless dreams.

What we think about it: The ad celebrates the people behind the project. Through the father-daughter narrative, it effectively conveys years of effort, hope, and perseverance, making the airport’s launch feel like the fulfilment of shared dreams. However, the film sometimes feels overly sentimental and a bit stretched.

The film released on 25 December.
