Google Labs has introduced photoshoot, a new feature in Pomelli, its AI marketing tool.

This feature intends to use business context (Business DNA) and Nano Banana image generation to turn product images into professional-grade studio shots.

The aim is to help small to medium-sized businesses keep up with the demands of digital marketing.

The Pomelli tool will help these businesses grow by making it easier to generate on-brand photos and marketing campaigns that feel authentic and professional.

The photoshoot feature enables businesses to generate professional product visuals for websites and social media in just a few steps, addressing the growing need for high-quality imagery to build customer trust across categories ranging from handmade goods to fitness services.

Users can upload any product image, choose from curated templates such as studio or lifestyle settings, or opt for automated suggestions. The tool applies the brand’s visual identity to produce on-brand images, which can then be refined, downloaded or saved to the platform’s Business DNA for use in future campaigns.

In addition to Photoshoot, pomelli is rolling out enhancements to image generation and campaign creation. Updated models promise greater accuracy and closer adherence to prompts, alongside editing features such as background changes and style referencing from other images.

Campaign capabilities have also been expanded, allowing users to upload images to guide creative output or input product URLs to generate campaigns based on site content, including images, titles and descriptions.

Positioned as a studio-free marketing solution, pomelli aims to help businesses maintain consistent, brand-relevant communications without the need for professional production resources.

Google Labs is inviting users to test the new feature and share feedback as development continues.
