Nike's 'Scary Good' campaign

Nike Football has rolled out a campaign titled 'Scary Good'. 'Scary Good' is Nike Football's latest brand identity which looks to celebrate the 'brilliance of attacking football'.

Through a nine-film campaign (not all of which have been released so far), Nike aims to deliver stories from the pitch in the form of horror and satire of late-night television with a cast of the game’s most dominant attackers.

The Nike Football 'Scary Good' anthem (above) features a 60-second montage of moments from the subsequent eight individual films. The films feature Alexia Putellas, Kylian Mbappé, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Giulia Gwinn, Erling Haaland, Kerolin, Sam Kerr, Cole Palmer, Salma Paralluelo and Vini Jr.

Along with the montage film, so far, a film each starring Haaland, Putellas, Palmer and Mbappé have been released.

What we think about it: While Nike's mission is to get attackers to play 'scary good', it brings back memories of its 'Joga Bonito' (play beautifully) campaign. With less than a year left for the Men's FIFA World Cup 2026, Nike's officially kickstarted the countdown to the tournament.

The campaign kicked off on 1 July.
