Myntra has rolled out a campaign 'From Basic to Wow, Superfast with Myntra M Now', to spotlight its 30-minute delivery service featuring comedian Sumukhi Suresh, actor Vihaan Samat, actor and model Ayesha Kanga and content creator Sakshi Shivdasani.
Conceptualised by DDB Mudra Group, the campaign consists of two ad films.
The first film (above) is set in a courtroom, where protagonists Suresh and Samat appear as key witnesses. When the lawyer calls them to the stand, they shuffle in wearing mismatched, sloppy homeware. Embarrassed, they protest, wondering how they can testify dressed like that. That’s when Samat suggests ordering clothes via M-Now. Curious about what would look “court-appropriate,” the duo asks for style advice - prompting an unexpected flurry of fashion tips from everyone in the room, including the lawyer, police officer, bailiff, and even the accused. The film wraps up with Suresh and Samat confidently striding into court, dressed in sharp new outfits delivered in just 30 minutes.
The second film features Kanga and Shivdasani as two jailed criminals, moments before getting their mugshots taken. Curious, they ask the police officer where the photos will be seen. When he casually mentions that the images will be circulated across police stations, the duo springs into action - pulling out their phones to browse M-Now for the perfect mugshot glam. They begin ordering makeup essentials, with Shivdasani insisting she wants her cheekbones to pop. The officer, unexpectedly helpful, suggests she add a bronzer to her cart. In true M-Now style, the delivery arrives in record time, allowing the two to strike a pose for their most glamorous mugshots yet.
What we think about it: This ad had us genuinely cracking up. A smart use of influential personalities, it brilliantly taps into their comedic strengths to amplify the film’s exaggerated humour. A fun and effective way to spotlight M-Now’s 30-minute delivery service.
