Google Gemini's campaign.

Google Gemini has rolled out a campaign to demonstrate the role of AI in everyday life and showcase its generative AI offerings. It aims to drive awareness, curiosity, and adoption of Gemini by inspiring people to try the platform for themselves.

Conceptualised by Lowe Lintas, the campaign comprises nine byte-sized ad films.

The 20-second films show how Gemini, Google’s generative AI, fits naturally into daily life, helping students with academics, professionals with work, and individuals with everyday tasks. From prepping for a viva to filing reimbursements or even improving sports performance, it depicts how Gemini comes across as a trusted ally that helps people ideate, organise, create, and solve problems.

What we think about it: Smartly grounds AI in everyday scenarios, making it accessible and relatable. But while it shows what Gemini can do, the films lean too functional, and in a cluttered AI offerings market, it lacks the emotional spark or cultural hook that would make people truly care and remember it.

Vasudha Misra, president (creative), Lowe Lintas, said, “AI often feels like a big, complex idea, but we wanted to show just how simple it can be. With Google Gemini, all it takes is one press of a button on your Android phone. No complicated setups, no jargon, just real help in real moments, whether it’s fixing a projector that won’t connect or revising for an exam. Suddenly, AI isn’t abstract anymore, it’s an everyday ally, ready when you need it most."
