Flipkart and Marriott Bonvoy have rolled out a campaign, 'Your Cart Takes You Places', announcing its dual loyalty integration.
Conceptualised by 22Feet Tribal Worldwide, the campaign comprises two films. The campaign is rooted in the insight that people search for all kinds of things on Flipkart, from ‘Bali Earrings’ to ‘Korean skincare,’ coincidentally sharing their names with real-life destinations.
The first film opens with a group of friends in a car, including the protagonist, an eccentric K-pop enthusiast who’s energetically jamming to Korean pop songs. One of his friends who is shopping for Korean skincare products on Flipkart, unexpectedly wins a trip to Korea, resulting in a humorous turn of events.
The second film also sees a similar turn of events wherein one colleague who demands princess treatment is busy with her grooming session while the other wins a royal trip to Jaipur when looking for 'Jaipuri Jewellery' on Flipkart.
What we think about it: The campaign brilliantly blends humour and relatable aspirations. The films strike a balance between brand recall, emotional engagement, and product relevance.
