Urban Company has rolled out a campaign, 'Chhote Sapne?' as part of their ongoing brand narrative that aims to reframe the public perception of the company’s service professionals and uplift micro-enterpreneurs.
Conceptualised by Talented, the campaign comprises an ad film.
The film opens with an Urban Company professional entering a client’s home, where the client is busy on a call and preparing a cake for her company’s fifth anniversary. As she brews tea, she offers a cup to the professional who is setting up for a pedicure. Noticing the celebration, the professional remarks on the milestone. The client explains it’s been five years since she started her business. And then suggests that the professional should consider starting something of her own, questioning how long she plans to carry her kit from house to house. The professional responds calmly, reminding her that every entrepreneur faces naysayers. She adds that her work is just as much her own, built on reputation and trust. “The only difference between you and me,” she says, “is that one carries a laptop and the other a box. But the pride of building something on my own is priceless.”
What we think about it: The film carries forward the brand's ongoing narrative of dignity in service, yet it still feels fresh thanks to its grounded storytelling and the authenticity of its central exchange.
