Super.money's campaign

Super.money has rolled out a campaign featuring cricketer Jonty Rhodes.

Conceptualised by Braindad, the campaign comprises a film. The film opens with Rhodes paying a rickshaw driver for a ride. But instead of leaving, he suddenly drops into a fielding position. Confused, the driver waits, then eventually drives off. Moments later, he notices Rhodes tailing him across the city, persistently and strangely. After a long stretch of this odd pursuit, the agitated driver confronts Rhodes, demanding to know what he wants. To which, he replies that he wants his cashback. The rickshaw driver then tells him that one can get cashback on super.money and not cash.

What we think about it: A smart, quirky piece of storytelling that turns a simple feature: cashback, into an unforgettable visual gag. With minimal dialogue and clever visual comedy, the ad delivers a memorable punchline that perfectly sells the concept.

The film released on 9 September.
