Zepto has rolled out a campaign, 'Boba Bhai delivered in 10, only on Zepto', to highlight its bubble tea and Korean food offerings.

Conceptualised in-house, the campaign consists of an ad film.

The film opens in a hospital waiting room, where patients are anxiously waiting for their medical reports. A young man complains about how boring the day is until he notices the girl beside him, casually sipping on her boba tea, completely unfazed. Curious, he asks why she seems so chilled out and takes a sip of her drink. Instantly, his mood shifts: the dull atmosphere transforms into an alternate universe of colour, dance, and fun, with everyone in the waiting room joining in. As he finishes the drink, the lively vibe fades, and reality returns. Sensing his disappointment, the girl smiles and quickly orders another one through Zepto.

What we think about it: Taps into Gen Z’s love for escapism, using boba tea as a quirky mood-lifter in an otherwise mundane setting. While the hospital backdrop feels unexpected, the film successfully lands Zepto’s promise of instant delivery. 

The campaign was rolled out across social media on 14 July.
