Ferrero India has rolled out a Diwali campaign, ‘Add your Golden Touch’, featuring actor Hrithik Roshan, to showcase how the brand enhances festive experiences.
The campaign comprises an ad film. It traces Roshan’s Diwali festivities from dawn to dusk, beginning with him stepping out in the morning, greeting the day with a Ferrero Rocher box in hand. Roshan narrates a metaphor that likens the richness of gold to the indulgence of Ferrero. As the day unfolds, the scene shifts into evening, when his home glows with golden lights and a festive warmth. Smiles shimmer across the room, each moment touched by the sparkle of Ferrero Rocher. The camera lingers on the chocolate before the film culminates in a heartfelt family gathering. Surrounded by loved ones, Roshan invites viewers to share the golden touch of Ferrero Rocher as a way to show how much they care.
What we think about it: The film effectively positions the brand as a symbol of warmth and celebration, using Hrithik Roshan’s Diwali journey to create an aspirational, festive mood. However, while visually rich, the narrative leans heavily on sentimentality and could have benefited from a stronger, more memorable storytelling hook beyond the golden-glow motif.
